After working for banks and mortgage banking companies at the start of my career I was amazed at the amount of excess operating expenses and commissions that were built into the rates and fees that were passed on to clients.  

In May 2000, I started Mortgage Quest as a 100% Independent mortgage company based around a simple idea: offer clients the lowest possible rates by operating on ultra-low margins, offer a full spectrum of loan products and personally oversee every loan file from start to finish.

As the Sole-Owner/Loan Officer, I personally manage every step of the process and control our pricing for Residential loans and our Fees for all loans. By eliminating unnecessary overhead—such as extra loan officer commissions, processing salaries and fees, large office expenses, and advertising costs—we pass those savings directly on to our clients through lower rates and reduced closing costs.

We also offer free investor rate hedging on the majority of our residential and investor programs throughout the loan process which ensures that our clients are safe with the initial rate lock. But, with the ability to obtain current market rates at closing if yields or investor pricing decreases prior to close.
